Improvement District

We conserve the Historic High Falls District of Downtown Rochester, NY, with outreach and restoration.

High Falls Business Improvement District – Formed in 2001 to create a special Tax District earmarked for Improvements for the betterment of the High Falls District. Each year, the BID Board decides (with input from the Neighborhood Association) what improvements to make to improve the Beautification, Marketing, or Promotion of this Historic District.  The BID Board is made up of five Property owners, One Tenant, and Three City representatives.

Hochstein at High Falls Lunch Hour Summer Concert Series

This noontime, lunch hour summer concert series features the sounds of local musicians in the city’s High Falls District. Hochstein at High Falls concerts begin at 12:10 pm on Thursday afternoons at Granite Mills Commons Park, corner of Browns Race and Platt Street.

Framework Plan Released!

Governor Hochul has announced the official release of the Framework Plan for the park's future in downtown Rochester. This plan outlines the vision for new park experiences, connections, and public spaces, and we are excited to move forward. The official announcement from the Governor can be viewed here.
